Kiss of Madagascar is set in 19th-century Madagascar, during the reign of one of the most evil women in history, Queen Ranavalona I.
Catherine Dyar is a young girl that travels from France with her missionary father to educate the people of Madagascar. Their plan is to translate the words and stories of their European God into the Malagasy tongue on this large red island located in the Indian Ocean.
